O’Brien is currently taking part in Creating a Climate for Change in Limerick<\/strong>

Creating a Climate for Change in Limerick is a new project from Dance Limerick\u2019s DL.Bridge programme running until the end of 2024.

DL.Bridge artist Katy Hewison and a team consisting of researchers Ciara Moynihan and G\u00fclfem Cevheribucak, dance artist Roberta Ceginskaite, choreographer and multidisciplinary artist Vanessa Grasse, and visual artist Mike O\u2019Brien, will work in partnership with local communities to break down barriers to accessing climate change literature by transforming it into the formats of hearing, seeing and moving. Read more about the team here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team are thrilled to be working with Moyross Sport and Physical Activity Hub<\/a>, Moyross Community Hub<\/a>, Watch House Cross Library<\/a>, Limerick City Library<\/a>, and Croom Family Resource Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project culminates in sharing events at Dance Limerick and Limerick City Gallery of Art<\/a> in November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a Climate for Change in Limerick is one of the twenty-four projects selected for the Spark Creative Climate Action Fund II<\/a> projects for 2023 by the Creative Ireland Programme<\/a> in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications<\/a> (DECC)
